the beginning

Greetings!

The author: I answer to Caitlin, Cait or a whole basket of monikers beginning with the word Cait or the letter 'C'. I am: a daughter, sister, auntie, friend, student, writer, athlete. I believe in being original, I believe in my strong liberal values, I believe in goodness, I believe in peace. I believe.

I'm entering my third year at at Pacific Lutheran University. I've chosen psychology as my undergrad because I am fascinated by human behavior. I aspire to be a child psychologist so that I can help tiny, vulnerable minds learn, grow and become extraordinary.

brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things: my camera, my nieces, laughing, books, my nephew, learning, running, coffee, the president, my boyfriend, studying psychology, movies, names, sunshine, my teammates, and most importantly, God; He rocks.

Caitology: I've decided to cross the threshold into cyberspace and chisel away at my very own spot in the blog-o-sphere. Why? To write about living on my own, my life's adventures, and my trials and tribulations as I spread my wings and learn to fly. I've never lived on my own before, but come September, I will be sharing a house with 5 other girls, paying my own rent (with a little help from Dad), buying my own groceries, making my own food, making important decisions, and, for the first time in my life, being a grown-up.
